Description:
Please read through this description and understand the condition of this trailer before calling - thanks! This is definitely a PROJECT trailer and can be made whole again with a moderate amount of time and money - this means a significant amount of work must be performed on it before it can be used to camp or live in. It is all original and no modifications have been made at all. Rear bedroom configuration. It has been sitting for a long time (years?) and needs the right know-how to make it whole again. The Good: Aluminum shell and windows intact and in good shape - no holes or cracks - minor dings on the outer skin - no creases. All external panel doors intact. Lighting and electrical all appear to be working. Plumbing and water pump good. Year old battery deep cycle just needs charging. All original cabinetry, doors and roll-ups intact good shape. All original manuals. The Bad: It will need all new flooring and sub-floors (this is no understatement) - there are a few soft spots and a few holes (12" to 18") in front floor where the original wafer board has rotted from moisture coming in from air vents on the roof left open for a long period of time. The curtains and upholstery on the couch will need to be deep cleaned or replaced and the entire inside will need a good cleaning from dirt, mildew and dust. The front door lever is broken off where somone tried to break in but the lock and mechanism work ok. It will need a new electric tongue jack ($250) or repair. A/C will need work or replacement ($1000) as well as the original Dometic refrigerator/freezer ($1200) - May just need refrigerant, who knows. Tires hold air but will need to be replaced for a long trip - they have dry rot - I pulled it to my house and they held fine. It has the old style propane tanks and valves that will need to be replaced. This will make a great trailer for the Airstream enthusiast with a little time, money and know-how - I would estimate it will cost $3-4K in parts and materials to bring it up to a really nice trailer. Do not come over or call expecting a liveable, ready to go trailer - this is a PROJECT trailer with awesome potential. Call with any questions and I will be 100% honest with what I know.
