Description: This truck is a 1996 FL70 Freightliner that I have customized to pull my 40' Travel Supreme, which it does very well. I added the 'hauler bed' and tool boxes and the 'sleeper'. This truck also has a Trailer Saver air ride hitch which is height adjustable from the cab. The hitch is attached to the frame via 5/8 steele plate. There's also a hitch at the 'rear bumber' area. The sleeper is a 'step through' accessable from the cab and both the cab and sleeper is on air ride. The sleeper interior has been removed and insulation installed, ready for whatever interior the buyer will want to install. The front axle is spring and the rear axle is on air. Both the driver's seat and passengers seat is air ride and height adjustable. Has a.m./f.m. radio with weather band.Has air horns, air brakes The hitch is a TSLB2H trailer Saver hitch (specificlly suited for medium duty trucks) that has height adjustment from the cab. The interior of the 60"X7' sleeper has been removed and insulation added but is still in an 'unfinished' condition...buyer will finish ..there are the component parts of heating and air conditioning (lacking some small parts..rubber hoses, 'T' fittings etc..)that stays with the truck. @When I purchased the truck, it had a bad piston, so I've had the engine rebuilt..the truck has approximately 1800 miles since the rebuild (I have paperwork showing the mileage at the time of overhaul and components that were replaced) The truck has 120K miles total and there are no known mechanical issues and is ready to travel. The "ooga" horn shown in one of the photo's will not go with the truck. My wife has hurt her knee and has trouble entering the truck or I would never sell it |
