Selling our 2011 Bighorn 3800BH 5th wheel made by Heartland RV. This is a 38 ft 5th wheel with 5 slides. The rear "bunkhouse" has upper flip-up bunks, and lower "jack-knife" sofas. The bunkhouse is a playroom and or extra living room by day and sleeps 4 to 6 by night. Attached to the bunkhouse is an extra 1/2 bath which is also accessable from the outside. We custom ordered this last spring and only used it a few times. The MSRP on this rig is over $75k before a lot of the extras and customizations. We custom ordered a floorplan that has a smaller clothing ward and tv pedestal in the bunkhouse that that of the factory floorplan. There are just too many features and details to convey in text. Upgraded to 8000 lb axles and springs from the standard 7000 lb setup.
Upgraded to Good-Year tires from the Chinese made Sailun stock tires.
Modified bunkhouse furniture to match that of the Big Country BC3494QBS (smaller clothing ward in the rear, small TV pedestal, upper flip-up bunks, lower jack-knife sofas)
Upgraded bunkhouse to have jack-knife sofas finished to same light gray leather (from the Godiva decor) as the sofa in the living room.
Upgraded to glass door to bunkhouse to keep an eye on the kids.
Upgraded Bunkhouse to have Satellite and Cable hookups.
Customizations done since purchase:
Installed Progressive Industries EMS-HW50C (50A) Electrical Management System (EMS) with qucik disconnect bypass
Installed Power Master VC-50 (50A) Power Booster with quick disconnect bypass
Installed full custom receiver hitch frame. This is a 2" receiver hitch that can connect to any 2" hitch accessory. This can be used for bike racks and or cargo platform etc.
Hard-piped propane line to quick disconnect to appropriate area for grilling. Have long flex hose used to connect to grille. Allows running the grille off of RVs dual 30 lb tanks.
Installed tilt and swivel 22" HD TV in the rear bunkhouse with quick disconnect.
