Last Spring, our boat business on the east coast went bankrupt, caused by the increased fuel prices and the resulting lack of power boat sales. As we had personally guaranteed over four hundred thousand dollars in financing for the business, when the business failed, our credit score went from 735 to somewhere in the 600s. We have since gone into a rather lucrative business that requires us to travel around the country at least 10 months a year. We are in dire need of a motorhome and can afford to make payments. The problem is, normal financing sources will not give us a loan on a RV.
