We have been full time RV'ers for over two years. Medical issues require settling down. This Travco has been a blessing to operate and live in. Not long after we purchased her, we started to hear things like, "Travco's were a motorhome way ahead of their time." How true that turned out to be.... Travco is all Dodge. It has the Dodge chasis, completely solid fiberglass body with never a worry about leaks as compared to motorhome manufacturers that use traditional seam type fabrications . A new powerfull high performance 440 with headers, installed 50,000 miles ago (total mileage on chasis is 86,000), along with a performance Nascar rebuilt transmission installed at the same time according to the previous owner. It comes with built in satelite (digital set up display), two air conditioners with aftermarket options that make it possible to put out heat as well as the AC. Black Walnut wood cabinets and cupboards. This was the last Travco year of production, and came to be under ownership of now the famous Foretravel Motorhome Company. The Black Walnut interior actually comes from that same year model of the Foretravel, along with a few other Foretravel factory items as well. It is equipped with hydraulic leveler's that are operated from the drivers seat. Forced heating system throughout that runs of the propane. Beautifully padded vinyl ceiling. Fantastic looking murals of both an eagle and bear on the sides of RV (shown above). Remodeled bathroom that now accomodates a larger shower with more room. Their is a large Kohler model 7000 generator. Air bags between axle and frame for adjusting the suspensions comfort ride down the road. Brand new carpet that is protected by an identical fitted carpeting that covers and protects the brand new one underneath throughout the main dinning area. No particle board or cheap wallpaper glued up on this beauty. Beautifull glass dinette table, and top of the line fitted shades throughout the entire front of the RV. Wrap around night and daytime curtains up at front driver, passenger and windshield location. Windshield sun protection covers. Every imaginable maintinance type of books (interior, exterior and appliances). All schematics for the 120v, 12v, plumbing, propane, sewer, and complete RV engine wireing harness schematics as well. All records down to every nut and bolt replacement along with date and mileage documented from previous owners. We are the third owner. New starter, voltage regulator, new high performance chrome Edlebrock carb, and new alternator. Top of the line accessory, and main batteries replaced about 10 months ago. CB radio, PA system, outside speakers that can be hooked up and used from the stereo system. Cassette, good old eight track, and speakers front and back. Both the 30 amp, and 50 amp plug-in harnesses included. Original fibergalss factory Travco spare tire cover, along with new spare tire. The two front tires are about 90%. Three of the four back dual tires are about 50 or 60%, and the fourth one is brand new. Nice clean refrigerator (both gas and electric), microwave, stove and oven (gas), and icemaker. Central vacume cleaning system that reaches front to back. Tinted windows, and custom fit window shades throughout the entire front, along with gorgeous curtains throughout bedroom. I also replaced all electric and manual fuel pumps. I would recomend replacing the one electric fuel pump that works in conjuction with the engines manual pump in place of a factory Travco pump (available online). It would be a little more quiet. The switch on the dash that turns the electric fuel pump on stopped operating. It has be baffeled. When we are ready to drive the RV, we hook it up at the fuse box. Not a big deal, but should probably install a switch. The solenoid that allows the switching of fuel tanks need to be replaced (we are presently running off the rear tank. The rear tank (45 gallons) does not have a working fuel gauge. The front (25 gallon) tank gauge does work when hooked up. We have been running off the back tank and calculating the mileage. Again, not a big deal, but should be fixed properly. The hook at the end of one of the awning arms needs to be replaced. We have been using just one for now and it has been working just fine for us. Should be replaced properly though. The thread in the center of the main awning is worn out and will have to be sewed up. The actual material on all four of the awnings are in excellent condition and are tucked away and protected by nice chrome retractable covers. Lots and lots of spare electrical and gas componet type parts. Also spare sliding cabinet door parts, and other misc items. Please note that the stainless steel sink is in excellent condition, the picture above was taken while it was not cleaned. We are selling for considerably less than we purchased her for, not including all the new items recently installed. This Travco truly is a one of a kind beauty. You will not be dissapointed......Be sure to visit website for pics, schematics and more at http://travcofree.com
