I recently purchased this motor home from a private owner in Michigan. The main intent of the purchase was to take it to Myrtle Beach for our summer vacation. After asking the previous owners numerous questions, I proceeded to purchase this coach and drove it home in the middle of the night. Come to find out the previous owner did not disclose everything that I asked honestly. Bottom line, it needs some work mechanically and I couldn't even take it on our summer trip, had a rent a hotel last minute! You can view several pictures of this motorhome on my website and www.digitalimagingsource.com/bounder.With that said, I will describe this coach to the best of my ability. I have been buying and selling on eBay for over 5 years with a 100% feedback rating. I am an honest seller and recommend anyone come take a look at this coach before buying it. If you do win the auction and come look at this coach and decide against it buying it, all I ask is the $100 non-refundable deposit for my time and costs to re-list this item on eBay. You owe nothing more. This is a very clean 1994 Fleetwood Bounder with several options, including the rare third tag axle (for better ride stability), backup camera, power mirrors, stove, microwave, dometic RV fridge/freezer, full bathroom, second sink and vanity in rear bedroom, storage inside and outside, second access door, electric steps, spare tire, all the original owners manuals, service manuals and more. It only has 49K miles on it and it always starts right up. It runs a little rough and could definitely use a tune-up (However it did make a trip from Michigan to New York just fine and a couple of local trips in New York as well). The dash air conditioning as well as both roof top air conditioners blow nice and cold. The gear shift is sometime hard to get out of park without a little force (I had this looked at by a local mechanic and was told it needed a linkage adjustment or replacement at about $200). This coach sleeps 6 as it has a rear bedroom and the coach and dinetter also fold down to beds. All of the tires have great tread on them as shown in the pictures below. Unfortunately, two tires (the outer two on the middle axle) have dry rot on them even though they have great tread. These do not pass New York State inspection therefore it is currently not inspected. The other 6 tires show no signs of dry rot anywhere. The LP system wasn't working when I bought it (even though I was told everything worked!) so I had it repaired at $300 for a new LP gas detector and to repair a ground connection. The LP tank was just filled and the gas stove (needs new knob for spark control), fridge and water heater work fine. It is summer so the dual furnaces have not been tested by me so I do not know if they truly function. The fridge works fine off electric as well. This unit even has a separate Ice Maker, A Dolby Surrond System was added by the previous owner and it works nice. The generator runs fine (only 325 hours) but starts a little hard. Usually takes 3 or 4 tries. It probably needs service as the starter turns over a little slow. This coach is equipped with hydraulic levelers but they are not functional and I do not know why. Lastly, the windows (not all of them) have some bad thermo pane seals and there is condensentation marks between the glass. The windows do not leak into the coach whatsoever and I was told by the local RV shop that these bounders are known for this. I just want to point this out because in my opinion they are not nice looking. This coach books out between $23K and $26K and would make a nice motor home for someone that has the time and money to get it ready for long trips. I had an estimate done for the 2 tires, tune-up and linkage issue and was quoted at $900 - $1100. This would get the coach road worthy to pass inspection. The front brakes were checked during the initial NYS inspection and I was told they were fine. The rear brakes were not checked. I also noticed that the main engine coolant resovoir and windshield washer resovoir were cracked (probably from stones or something) so engine gasket sealant was applied to them to prevent them from leaking. They are fine since they are only resovoirs but I am sure that they wouldn't cost that much to replace. The interior is very clean with no stains, rips or tears in the upholstery. It also appears as this coach has never been smoked in either. There is a small stain in the ceiling of the bathroom as shown in the pictures below and I was told this was from a previous roof vent leak). The exterior is very straight (some of the tape strips were removed from the previous owner and the remaining ones are faded and cracked. Replacement strip kits can be ordered for under $350). The awning works but I did notice a few pinholes in it when I had it extended. There are two doors on this coach for comfort. There is a washer/dryer combo in the motor home but I have never used it so it is untested. As I stated in the beginning, this coach is in pretty nice condition. I have listed everything that I know that is wrong with it because I do not want to hide anything. I was told this coach was ready to camp and that is why I bought it for our South Carolina trip. Since I do not have the time to put in the work it needs, I have decided to let it go. It will make someone a nice coach, especially if they can do some of the repairs themselves to save a few bucks. If this coach was fully oeprational, I am sure that it would be at least $25K on a RV dealer's lot. I feel this is priced fair for the little money it needs in repairs. We did use it for a couple of local camping trips and it worked fine. The tanks were both dumped after our last camping trip as well. There is currently about 1/4 tank of gas in the tank and it has approximately 120 gallon tank.Do not hesitate to call me on my cell listed above if you have any questions about this motorhome.
