This is our 1986 MCI-9 that we started to convert, before stumbling across a converted Prevost that was just our thing. It has the DL3 Kit, which is a smooth sided package that included fiberglass front and rear caps. We skinned the windows we intended to cover, using a bullet heater to heat the skin before drilling and riveting, so the skin across the windows is extremely tight and smooth prepainted aluminum. We pulled up the old floor, replaced the metal over the wheel wells, and insulated the floor fully with foam board and expanding foam. The inside walls, above the side panels, are insulated with foam board also. We installed conduit from the front to the rear and bays, and then installed two window units, side by side, in one of the bays. The output is directed both to the center air channel, and each also features two ducts that were intended to go up behind cabinets as they were built. We had return boxes built to cover the coil, and ducted up through the floor to what was going to be the underside of cabinets. The generator bay has a pipe and sleeve that extends the exhaust up through the roof, with a custom cover over the pipe to keep out rain. Any and all of the added components can be removed. The bus runs great with an 8v71 and Allison automatic transmission. Pretty much, other than the a/c work, it's a blank slate to do with as you please.
